Welcome to The Learning Gourmet Here at The Learning Gourmet we're all about good food, good fun and good friends. TLG was developed to help inspire, excite, and feed the curiosity of young minds by teaching kids not only basic cooking skills, such as how to mix, measure, and prepare a recipe, but also about healthy meal preparation and healthy eating choices.
Since our launch in January 2007, we have been overwhelmed by the positive response and tremendous amount of encouragement and support extended to us by the residents of Winthrop and surrounding communities, the Winthrop Senior Center, the Sun Transcript, and area merchants and business owners and we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and warmest appreciation.
We were even profiled in the Boston Globe recently with a terrific write up/ mention by Kate Jackson. Two metro-Boston Kids Cooking companies were profiled-- one on the South Shore and one on the North Shore. What a thrill for us after only short time in business. Summer 2008 Programs & Events CREATIVE COOKING CLASSES FOR KIDS Please visit our Kids page for more information. We offer 1 1/2 hour kids cooking birthday parties where we literally do it all for you - party planning, management, preparation, set up, clean up and more.
Summer 4-week summer session will begin on Monday, July 14th and will run through August 4th. Class time is 4:30 - 5:45 pm.
As a reminder, all new students receive a free Kids Cooking & Culinary Kit as well a professional Kids Apron as a gift from TLG.

4TH OF JULY WORKSHOP FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES
Join us on Saturday, June 28th from 9:30 - 11:00 am when we will be hosting our special Cooking Workshop for Kids of All Ages.
Walk-ins are always welcome although we do encourage everyone to register in advance to help us with an accurate count for event planning.
